It is interesting to note that the young photographer who made this image (and the protesters staging it) thinks of it as the dead protesting the School of the Americas, whereas my first assumption when viewing it was of a protest against the violent oppression of women in the Muslim world (that, or perhaps an obscure tomato-throwing religious festival in Spain or Italy.)
A picture is worth a thousand words. Only, the photographer doesn’t get to decide which thousand.
